We aim to make MRI as simple as a routine blood test

Manifesto

MRI is one of the biggest medical revolutions – yet 90% of the world’s population has little to no access to it. Current devices are too cumbersome and expensive because they rely on intense magnetic fields.

We believe the only way to radically improve its accessibility is to go for very-low magnetic fields. But low-cost imaging projects are often crippled by the unviable quality and time of imaging. So far, research has been very promising but not satisfying enough.

By building the world’s first viable ultra-low field MRI with true diagnosis power, our mission is to make MRI as common and simple as blood sampling, allowing prevention and medical imaging availability at scale.

Meet the founders

Evan holds a Master of Engineering from École Centrale.
He started his first company at 21, then Chipiron at 25.
He has built an extensive
network in the medical world over the years, from which the idea of Chipiron emerged.
Evan was awarded the Forbes 30 Under 30 title in 2022.

Dimitri holds a Ph.D. in theoretical physics and a physics degree from the École Normal Supérieure. He had one of the highest rankings in France at the prestigious Agrégation competitive exam.
Dimitri is an expert on
superconductivity, which is at the core of Chipiron’s solution. Dimitri was awarded the MIT TR 35 in 2022.

We are (always!) hiring the most ambitious engineers & physicists.

Our team includes 18 people, of which 13 have Ph.D. in physics, adding to more than 25 years of post-doc experience.

Graduates from Polytechnique, École Normale Supérieure, École Centrale, EPFL, and Cornell, to name a few.
